Ooni Koda 2 cover: what you get for £45
Ooni sells a Carry Cover for Ooni Koda 2 at £45. Ooni says it’s made from weather-resistant, waterproof 600D polyester, with straps and carry handles [O-COV]. It works as storage and transport in one, which suits UK owners who carry the oven from shed to patio. We found no separate non-carry Koda 2 cover in Ooni’s UK accessories collection on 18 Oct 2026. The £35 cover (sale price on 18 Oct 2026) is for the Koda 2 Max, a different oven, so check your model name.
Gozney Arc Lite cover: £34.99
Gozney says the Arc Lite Cover is water repellent and UV stable, and has toggle straps and a pull tag to tighten the fit. It’s compatible with the Arc Lite and Tread only [G-COV].
Choosing a peel in three questions
- Do you want to build the pizza on the peel? Choose wood or bamboo. Dough sticks less to wood while you add toppings [G-ACA][O-BAM].
- Do you cook several pizzas back to back? Add a perforated aluminium peel (Ooni £50/£60 [O-PERF], Gozney Venture £79.99 [G-VEN]) for retrieving. Ooni says perforations shed excess flour [O-PERF].
- Does your oven run very hot or have a single back flame? A turning peel (Ooni from £50 [O-TURN]) lets you rotate without pulling the pizza out.
Budget path (ours): one wooden peel plus the official cover costs £59.98–£95 depending on oven (from the table above). That covers what you need for your first cook.
UK care tips for covers
- Never cover a warm oven. Let it cool completely first.
- In wet weather, let a soaked cover dry before refitting it, so moisture isn’t trapped against the metal.
- Gas bottles stay outdoors. Gozney’s £29.99 Gas Bottle Cover keeps rain off the bottle [G-GBC].
