UK buying tips under £300
Gas bottles. The Koda 12 comes with a regulator for clip-on patio gas canisters [O-K12]. The ProCook oven specifies 11kg–15kg cylinders at 37mbar [PC]. UK patio gas and propane bottles use different fittings, so check your oven’s manual before buying a bottle. Our gas pizza ovens guide covers this.
Running costs (our estimate, not measured). At full power the Ninja draws 1.76kW [NJ-UK]. At the 1 Oct–31 Dec 2026 price-cap electricity rate of 26.32p/kWh for Direct Debit customers [WHICH]: 1.76kW × 26.32p/kWh ≈ 46p per hour at most. Your own tariff may differ. Thermostats cycle, so real use is usually lower. For gas, wood and pellet ovens, cost depends on your fuel and how long you cook; we don’t have official per-hour figures for these models.
